Who Can Join

Sonoma Federal Credit Union is a federally insured, community chartered credit union. If you live, work, worship or attend school in Sonoma County you can join. Sonoma County businesses and legal entities are eligible for membership too.


How To Join

Complete this Membership Inquiry. Once your Membership Inquiry is received, the credit union will evaluate it for eligibility and call you to set up an appointment to open your account. Be sure to bring your California Driver's License and a second ID, which can be a credit card, debit card, or employer ID badge to this appointment.

If you are opening a business account with Sonoma Federal Credit Union, we need a special Business Account Application and Agreement completed on site. Please call for documentation requirements.

If you are opening a non-profit account with Sonoma Federal Credit Union, we will need the Articles of Incorporation/Organization, Driver's licenses and signatures of all designated signer.
